This morning Digg rolled out a new "social media" feature that includes a revamped profile to give you some of the features you'd find at places like MySpace and Facebook.
Of course, social media doesn't work well unless you have your friends involved, and Digg thoughtfully added a feature to let you search your GMail address book to find matches at Digg for folks you already know.
Now, take a second, and ask yourself if there's anything wrong with that picture...
Yup, all those Digg folks all at once hammering GMail for ALL their contacts (and possible permutations of such). Any surprise that the Google Mail servers are "temporarily unavailable"?
