Which Kindle? My Thoughts...

I was a little surprised to get an email from one prospective Camp Handiba buyer wondering which Kindle I would recommend. If you are going to actually get the device, I would suggest this one:

Kindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 6" Display, 3G Works Globally - Latest Generation

Mainly because it has a somewhat brighter screen, and because it has both 3G and WiFi so you really can find another book when you are on the beach. However, I would also point out that you can get the Kindle App for your PC, or iPad, or Xoom, or... which has the advantage of letting you see the illustrations in color. Not that the gray scale versions aren't readable, but it can make it harder to tell red hair from blond :-)
