So it occurred to me to take a look today and see if someone had ported a version of Gimp to the Android since it seems like something that would run respectably on a tablet. I didn't find anything. However, I DID find the Gimp Help file available, at the low cost of 0.99. Link is: https://market.android.com/details?id=app-com.hart.gimpref
I can just barely understand someone selling the manual since it probably does take a little work to reformat it. But why would you buy the manual if you can't even run that program on Android? Given that the market shows "less than 50 downloads", I guess I'm not the only person who is confused.
On the other hand, I'm wondering if I'm missing a chance for quick riches... I mean if I took each of the books from Project Gutenberg, formatted them as an Android app, and sold them for a buck each... :-)
Please don't run out and do that now, by the way.
More seriously, anyone know if there is an effort to port Gimp to Android?

One dollar for a manual of a program you can't run?
